Once you get past the unbelievable premise of a former gangster being shot 22 times and surviving then you can enjoy this slick and stylish thriller from the producers of Taken and starring the great Jean Reno.

Reno plays Charly Mattei who has retired from a life of crime and has been living peacefully with his family for three years. Then one winter's morning he is gunned down in a car park and left for dead. When he finally recovers he embarks on a revenge spree.

Directed by Richard Berry and based on Franz-Olivier Giesbert's novel L'Immortel this is an entertaining action thriller in which suspending disbelief is a must.

What keeps you watching is Reno's gripping and unrelenting performance. This is a man that can do no wrong.
